SUMMER GERMAN WORKSHOP

The German summer camps take place during school breaks. Sessions run for five days, from Monday through Friday. Each session lasts 2 hours. Students are divided into groups of up to 6. Groups may be mixed-ability.
These workshops allow students to revisit concepts they have not fully grasped or mastered and to develop new learning methods to reinforce their knowledge.
The focus here is on reviewing the curriculum since the start of the school year, reinforcing concepts through exercises, and applying knowledge through writing assignments and short oral presentations.
These workshops also give students the opportunity to come in and do their German homework with guidance and explanations, or to review the assessments they’ve taken since the beginning of the year.
Several aspects of the language are covered during the week: vocabulary, grammar, verb conjugation, listening and speaking, as well as writing.
