PARENTING SUPPORT WORKSHOP

Parenting support workshops are designed for parents. They are held on select Saturdays. Each workshop consists of three half-day sessions, each lasting four hours. There is a maximum of eight participants.

These workshops are designed for parents who are experiencing daily challenges with their children or who want to improve their family relationships.

The proposed approach is neither positive discipline nor authoritarianism in disguise. It is based on Adlerian psychology and was developed by Nelsen and Linn, two American educators. It offers tools to try at home and insights into understanding children’s inappropriate behaviors. It is designed for all types of families and is suitable for children of all ages between 3 and 16.

This approach is currently taught to teachers in schools and to professionals in the fields of education and early childhood. It is therefore also a valuable tool for managing classrooms and groups of children.
