The evidence is clear: students’ overall proficiency in French has declined in recent years. A limited vocabulary prevents them from expressing themselves, understanding others, and conveying nuanced meanings. Punctuation is often overlooked, and homophones are frequently confused. For many, writing has become an insurmountable challenge.

The French workshops are based on a unique and innovative method. Using short texts, students work on reading comprehension, vocabulary organized by theme, writing summaries, and developing arguments on topics drawn from the text. Through these various areas of study, spelling, verb conjugation, syntax, and the development of ideas will be addressed in an integrated manner.
